Awareness Day! Doraleh beach clean-up

SGTD in collaboration with the students of the Doraleh primary school and with the help of the Djiboutian coastguard, organised a clean-up day on the beach of Doraleh. The programme included a presentation and visit of the Terminal’s facilities, distribution of gloves, masks and waistcoats, beach cleaning and finally the presentation of certificates of attendance to all the pupils. The aim of the day was to make the children aware of the importance of cleaning and living in a safe environment while allowing them to have fun. Thanks to the good mood of the pupils from Doraleh Primary School, the SGTD teams and the coast guard, the day was a real success!

Annual iftar with clients

On 11th March, SGTD hosted its traditional Ramadan Iftar, bringing together our valued customers, shipping lines, freight forwarders, strategic partners, and representatives from key public authorities.
This special evening provided an excellent opportunity to strengthen longstanding relationships, foster meaningful dialogue, and celebrate the spirit of collaboration that drives our shared success. Intermodal Africa 2026

SGTD is pleased to participate in the 35th edition of Intermodal Africa, held from 10–12 February 2026 at the Djibouti Palace Kempinski.
Recognized as Africa’s leading annual conference for ports, shipping, and logistics, the event brings together over 400 senior decision-makers to discuss connectivity, investment, and the future of maritime development across the continent.
The conference was officially opened by His Excellency Ismaïl Omar Guelleh, President of the Republic of Djibouti, in the presence of Government Ministers and the Chairman of the Djibouti Ports and Free Zones Authority, underscoring the strategic importance of the sector for Djibouti and the region.
