The SGTD Doraleh Terminal achieved a historic milestone in October 2024 by surpassing 1 million TEU (Twenty-foot Equivalent Units) in just 10 months, marking the first time in its history. The terminal expects to reach 1.2 million TEU by the end of the year. This record reflects a mix of origin & destination (O&D) and transshipment traffic, bolstering its position as a key transshipment hub in the Red Sea region.

In a world of constant evolution, the Terminal has to adapt to meet all customer expectations. Today, SGTD teams successfully discharged simultaneously three heavy large breakbulk cargoes from two vessels alongside! This success demonstrates the Terminal’s versatility and ability to handle different types of cargo. It highlights not only the terminal’s commitment to meeting the requirements of its customers, but also its strategic importance in supporting trade and logistics in the region. It demonstrates the terminal’s operational efficiency and adaptability, which are key to attracting diverse customers and maintaining a competitive advantage in the industry.
