On the occasion of the International Youth Day held on 11 August, SGTD was visited by a group of young people from Goubetto accompanied by members of the State Secretariat for Youth and Sports (SEJS). They had the opportunity to discover all the infrastructures of the terminal.
SGTD had the pleasure of welcoming a delegation from the City of Mogadishu, led by the Mayor of Mogadishu and accompanied by the President of the Mogadishu Chamber of Commerce.

On July 7, SGTD welcomed the maiden call of MV Gulbeniz A, operated by ARKAS Line, at the Doraleh Container Terminal. This maiden call marks the launch of ARKAS Line’s new RSSI Service, linking Türkiye, the Red Sea, Djibouti and the Indian Subcontinent, and further strengthening Djibouti’s position as a strategic gateway for regional and international trade. We are delighted to welcome ARKAS Line to SGTD Doraleh Container Terminal and look forward to building a long-term partnership that will enhance regional connectivity and create new opportunities for our customers and global supply chains.
