These ships are a real concentrate of innovations and mark the CMA CGM Group’s commitment to the energy transition of maritime transport. LNG is now the best industrial tool for preserving air quality and also provides a first response in the fight against global warming. We are proud to be the only port in the region able to accommodate the latest generation ships. We have also launched the purchase of four (4) high-capacity gantry cranes (ULCV) to operate such vessels and which we will receive shortly, as well as the expansion of the container yard which will be operational at the end of June 2022.
These Development Projects will position us to be a regional hub and thus receive more international volumes in our terminal.
